A Backward Glance

I have a substantial collection of photographs taken between 1970 and 1995.  There is no overall message or theme; most were taken in Scotland, usually Glasgow and they are merely photographs of places I’ve been and people I met.

All of these images were taken on black and white film. Taking them today would be more difficult; people are suspicious of photographers and taking photographs with a camera, rather than a phone seems almost old fashioned or strange.

I wish I had taken more photographs during this period – I didn’t know how quickly time passes and how much things change.
